HISTORY
The Establishment date of Neil's Transport P/L was in 1946 when Erle Neil commenced supplying and carrying timber for the local merchants in the Southern Riverina area of New South Wales and Northern Central areas of Victoria in an army blitz prime mover, with a 9 metre single axle trailer.

Over the progressing years the transport business varied according to the economy and Government controls. By the early 1960's the main operation was stock cartage and some general products, i.e. bagged cement and drums of fuel, with 6 'S' model Bedford prime movers.

At this time Jan Neil (Erle's son) became involved in the business and progressed to be General Manager. The business was sold to Wm. Charlick Ltd in 1978 at which time there were some 40-company vehicles plus 40 permanent sub-contractors. The company was also involved in bulk commodities and palletised storage for such companies as Murray Goulburn Co-Op,Ricegrowers, Woolworths, AWB, NSW Grain Board, and various other companies.

The re-establishment of Neil's Transport P/L was in 1989 and a third generation with Andrew Neil (Jan's son) becoming involved in the storage and grain trading operations with turnovers reaching $30 million.

With the loss of Erle in 1990 and Andrew in 1995, the family decided to
dispose of the grain operations and concentrate on the transport arm of the business. That has developed to the stage whereby Jan Neil's daughters, Penelope Jackson and Felicity Neil own the business with Andrew Jackson and Damien Quirk controlling the day to day running of the business.

Neil's Commitment is to Deliver it's customers freight that meet or exceed the requirements, quality and performance levels expected by the customer on a timely and cost effective basis. For Neil's to meet it's commitment for each customer our employees are dedicated to ensure that the goals are met.

Currently Neil's Transport operates 30 Late Model Trucks on SINGLE TRAILER, B/DOUBLE, FLAT TOPS, DROP DECKS and CONTAINER. Neil's Transport specialises in open trailer work, especially in the area of oversized loads. We have company trailer certified Pilots and we have fully equipped Pilot Cars.
